My time in Paris was a dream. Designed for the traveler with a limited timeframe, use my 96 hours in Paris to aid in the creation of your own. Whether you dream of climbing the Eiffel Tower or mastering the art of the croissant, this guide promises an unforgettable journey through the City of Lights.

Day 1: Iconic Landmarks

Start your day off with a visit to the Eiffel Tower, the iconic landmark of Paris.

Be sure to book your tickets ahead of time to avoid long lines. There are two options for ascending the Eiffel Tower: stairs or elevator. If you’re in good physical condition, taking the stairs to the first or second level can save you time and money. The views from the top are simply breathtaking!

Afterwards, take a stroll along the Seine River. You can walk or bike along the riverbanks, or take a leisurely boat cruise to see the city’s sights from a different perspective.

Later, make your way to the imposing Notre Dame Cathedral. If you have time, climb the towers for great views of the city (restoration permitting!).

Day 2: Art & Culture

I highly recommend taking a croissant making class during your time in Paris! Many cooking schools in Paris offer croissant-making classes, allowing you to learn the art from experienced professionals.

We went to La cuisine Paris and definitely plan to take their French Market Tour and Cooking Class next time we visit.

After making your delicious pastries, make an easy 15 minute walk down to the Lourve Museum, one of the world’s largest and most famous museums. This massive museum will take a good bit of your day so I suggest planning ahead and deciding which exhibits you want to prioritize.

Day 3: Day Trip

With Paris’s easy-to-navigate metro and countless tours, exploring beyond the city center is an easy way to maximize your trip. There are many places you can go outside of Paris city limits. We went to Disneyland Paris, a short 36 minute ride from the city.

Day 4: Champs-Élysées

Dedicate your final day to experiencing the Arc de Triomphe and exploring the surrounding Champs-Élysées district. It is absolutely worth climbing to the top! You’ll see the best panoramic views of Paris, offering gorgeous views of the Champs-Élysées and the city skyline.

After your visit to the Arc, stroll down the famed Champs-Élysées, a wide avenue known as “the most beautiful avenue in the world.” Window shop at luxury stores like Louis Vuitton and Chanel, or grab a coffee and people-watch at a sidewalk cafe.

With this itinerary as your guide, you’re sure to have an unforgettable Parisian adventure filled with iconic landmarks, charming neighborhoods, and delicious food. So pack your bags and get ready to fall in love with the City of Lights!
